B-Raw-Nie w/ Raw Chocolate & Mint Ganache


This is the perfect little chocolate fix for all you chocoholics out there. Don’t hide, I know you’re there. I’m one of you!

I must have chocolate at least once a day, you know what I mean?

Luckily, these little treats can satisfy my chocolate craving completely and … they are healthy! Whaaaat, I know. Delicious AND healthy. Let’s indulge!

The Brownie

  • 1/2 deciliter raw almonds
  • 300 g dried dates or date paste
  • 2-3 tablespoons of raw cacao powder
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla powder
  • 1 pinch of Himalayan salt

The Chocolate & Mint Ganache

  • 1 avocado
  • 2 tablespoons sweetener
  • 2 tablespoons raw cacao powder
  • 1 drop peppermint oil
  • 1 tablespoon water

The Directions

  • Run almonds in a food processor until powdery
  • Add remaining brownie ingredients and mix until combined
  • Press the brownie in to a tin
  • Run all the ganache ingredients in food processor until smooth
  • Slather on top of the brownie
  • Serve with pistachios
  • Store in fridge



    1. Thanks so much, Ira! The ganache doesn’t taste like avocado; that’s the beauty of it 🙂 Maybe try it? If not, try using banana? It’s more slimy though. Or hazelnut butter would be great.

    I fell in love with your beautiful page!
    I’ve made the ganaches five minutes ago. Is it normal that the brownies won’t get hard? it’s a very thick and sticky paste. the ganache tatstes a lot like avocado,interesting but nice. maybe I will try to use hazelnut butter next time,should be sweeter.

    1. Sorry I didn’t see your message! It sounds like you have used fresh dates or dates that are very soft. You can always add more almond flour, although I do recommend sticking to the measurements and using a date paste or dates that are dried and not too soft. With regards to the avocado; they do vary in taste intensity and will therefor not always taste the same in the ganache. I recommend adding more syrup and cacao powder. It’s not meant to taste like avocado at all!
