Cashew Cream

Staples, right. We all have them, and one of mine is cashew cream. I love using it in savoury as well as sweet concoctions. And I love how easy it is to make too. Seriously, when I say ‘easy’ I’m talking, like, 2 minute’s worth of your time. 1 minute of putting your cashews in a container with plenty of water to soak overnight & 1 minute to blend it up and pour it into a glass bottle. Think you can handle that?

The Cashew Cream

  • 150 grams of cashews
  • 300 milliliters of filtered water

Blend. Add to glass bottle. Refrigerate.

How simple was that? You can of course get all fancy and add some dates for sweetness, or some vanilla bean, or some turmeric for extra health benefits, or raspberries or liquorice or salt or whatever your heart desires. The possibilities are honestly endless.

IMG_4533For ultimate creaminess I suggest you use a high-speed blender such as the Omni. Just saying.
