What’s better than a piece of fresh & soft spelt bread slathered in hummus? A piece of fresh & soft spelt bread slathered in hummus with beetroot & lime. Yes, that’s right. This is THAT good.
- 1 can chickpeas / rinsed & drained
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 beetroot / peeled
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon agave
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon tahini
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1-2 dl water
- Run all ingredients in a food processor/blender until smooth. Add water gradually to adjust thickness
- Garnish with sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds and a sprinkle of cress
- ENJOY in sandwiches, on crackers, with vegetable sticks etc.
