Chocolate sauce all over my face, please. I cannot get enough. I will not get enough.
Chocolate sauce in frostings, chocolate sauce over cake, chocolate sauce over ice cream, chocolate sauce with pancakes, chocolate sauce everywhere. Chocolate sauce forever!
The salted chocolate fudge sauce;
• 0.75 dl of coconut milk (0.3 cups)
• 1.5 dl of pure maple syrup (0.6 cups)
• 25 grams of muscovado sugar
• 75 grams of dark chocolate
• 1 tablespoon of vegan butter
• 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla bean paste
• 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
Finely chop the dark chocolate.
Combine coconut milk, muscovado sugar, half of the chocolate and a third of the maple syrup in a sauce pan.
Bring to a gentle boil on a medium heat.
Reduce heat and let the sauce simmer for about 5 minutes.
Take the sauce off of the heat and add in the remaining chocolate, the remaining maple syrup, the butter, vanilla and salt. Stir well until completely smooth.
Store in a glass container in the fridge.
The sauce will harden in the fridge.
Enjoy it as is or serve it warm. When it is warm, it will be more pourable.
