It’s time for another episode of the Sweet Treat Shake Series and since my girlfriend loves the flavours of Lemon Meringue, I decided it was time to squeeze some lemons and write up this recipe for all of you.
The Lemon Meringue Shake
- 2 bananas / frozen
- 100 milliter non-dairy milk of choice
- 1 lemon / the juice + the zest for garnish
- 1 teaspoon vanilla bean powder
- 2 teaspoons pure maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon coconut cream (optional)
The Lemon Meringue Shake Directions
- Take your two bananas out of the freezer, cut into chunks and leave to soften a bit while you prepare the remaining ingredients
- Measure your ingredients and run them in the blender for a second before adding in the banana chunks
- If necessary, add more milk a bit at a time until preferred consistency is achieved
- Garnish with lemon zest
- Enjoy!
Yum, i made a similar affair last week but i chucked it in the freezer for a weird so- of ice cream. Really enjoying the flavour combination of the lemon and banana though- will definitely try this shake! xx
